One of the saddest songs ever sang by Don Mclean about the famous Expressionist in the realm of Impressionistic art. It outlines the life of Vincent Van Goh from his unique talent, his benevolence, his rejection of love and family, and his impending suicide when all these things have overwhelmed his sanity. A Starry Night is one of Van Gohs most popular paintings and I always love to sing this under the stars when I get out in the open.
