The Swarm™ is a wildly colorful, four-channel DMX-512 LED effect light with adjustable strobe speed for any of its seven color combinations produced by a total of 9W of LED. Motor direction and speed control are also adjustable. Additional features include built-in automated and sound-activated programs via master/slave or DMX.

[INDIANADARKSIDE]

I cant not get my Swarm 4 to work in DMX for some reason. I put it in DMX mode and 1 is slave but nothing in 2 also. What do I need to set it at to get it to work in DMX mode?

@chauvetlighting I done call them and took 2 days for them to call me back and after they called me back still can not het it to work. My LED Trident works in DMX but still cant get the Swarm to work. I will get my other one out and try that one. Thx

@chauvetlighting Hey, I am hopefully going to work with lighting for Dj's and stuff, and I am trying to pick out lasers. I have little experience in the lighting field. Why are your lights better than all the competition?

If you could choose only ONE light/laser under $300 for a gig, what would it be and why?

@claire11977 The Chauvet Swarm contains three, 3W LEDs (9W) and each LED is driven at 1200mA which is greater than or equal to 12.5% brighter than our competition.Put the Chauvet Swarm side-by-side and see for yourself. You’ll probably be happily surprised

@claire11977 The Triphase and Invincibled are the same product and both may be advertised to use a 10W LED, but what is the drive current of the LED? You cannot compare 2 different fixtures by the LED wattage as you must also take into account the LED drive current which is measured in amperes. A typical 3W LED is driven at 1050mA but they do not list the drive current anywhere. What are they hiding?

The reason this light is cheaper than the American DJ Tri Phase and the Acme Invincibled is because it only uses 3w LED's as opposed to 10w LED's. You notice a massive difference on a semi lit dance floor. The ADJ and Acme are both very bright in any light condition and well worth the £155 price tag.
