Oh lol people are finding this trying to watch the film itself.

A Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron fanvid to the tune of "Road to Viridian City" from the Super Smash Bros. Brawl soundtrack.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl has, bar none, one of the greatest videogame soundtracks I've ever heard. It probably helps that it draws from so many diverse sources as part of its celebration of all that is Nintendo (plus Metal Gear and Sonic). So I thought to myself, "Self, it'd be cool to make some fanvids to this brilliant soundtrack." It kind of spun out wildly of control once I tried to pick one for Spirit.

This first batch of Brawl-based fanvids I've been working on for a while; they tell the story of the Cimarron Stallion via five fanvids to the tunes of new and old Nintendo music. The two rules I made to myself was that the songs had to be from games I'd played, and that each series could only be used in one fanvid.

Spirit's Route 1 introduces us to the Cimarron Herd as well as to some of its heroic leader's exploits against cougars and two-leggeds, all to what has to be one of the most upbeat takes on Pokémon music I've ever heard.

Sure:

Contact Dreamworks and get them to defy all logic and put it up, thus giving away for free what they spent millions of dollars on.

Also bother fanvidders as if they could do anything about it! That is sure to make them your friends.

Of course not. If I was being cocky, I'd have said we don't need Spirit on YouTube because my fanvids are better than the film itself.
