Singing with the Broadway Stars Example Video

Local singers will have the opportunity to perform with Broadway professionals during Neil Bergs 101 Years of Broadway at Sangamon Auditorium, UIS on Saturday, October 24, at 8 p.m.

Through an online audition process, up to 10 winners will be selected by a panel of industry experts (including producers, singers, and managers as well as Neil Berg himself). WICS news Channel 20 will air interviews with the 10 winners, and the public will vote to choose 2 central Illinois favorites. All 10 winners will sing on stage with the Broadway Stars and the 2 favorites will be featured soloists during Seasons of Love from RENT.

All audition video submitters will be entitled to a 15% discount on any price level ticket to Neil Bergs 101 Years of Broadway at Sangamon Auditorium, UIS on Saturday, October 24, 2009, at 8 p.m. Winners will each receive 2 tickets for their family and friends to see their Broadway debut!

To submit an audition, contestants should upload a 90-to-120-second video clip of themselves singing a Broadway favorite to YouTube, MySpace, or Facebook.
