Excuse the quality of this 1984 video. Texas Litestar dealer interviewed and the question is answered... Is this as fast as a speeding bullet? The Litestar Autocyle is safe and fuel efficient.

The Pulse autocycles were built between 1985 and 1990 with about 346 being produced. They sell once in a while on ebay or craigslist. Keep checking the Pulse Litestar Network message board as owners sometimes sell them there:

  • Why is this not on the road today?

  • I saw one in a Mall in Orlando Florida 1986.

  • What happened? One would think that everyone would want one, especially now! They may say 50-75 MPG, but with a more modern engine, it could problably do better than 100. I know it may cost a little more than it did then, but that would still be pretty cheap, as well.

  • when I was a kid (late 80's) I remember seeing something like this at Epcot Center Orlando in the GM future tech exhibit or whatnot, but you could attach wings and a prop too for a flying car. I guess it made an impression, I couldn't have been more than 7yo at the time.

  • I actually saw one of these back in the 80s in my local mall in Tyler Texas where I used to live (but it was silver, if I remember correctly)

  • can you EJECT? that would be awesome.

  • Get it to China or India to have it mass produced ; gas is so expensive nowadays.
