In 1994, the Old Dominion Monarchs played host to the number one ranked team in the country, the North Carolina Tar Heels. Future NBA stars Jerry Stackhouse and Rasheed Wallace were the big guns for the Carolina, while ODU's main man, Odell Hodge, was out for the season with a torn ACL. This game doesn't have a happy ending for Monarch fans, but for those that were there, the first half was pretty special. ODU had a 32-31 lead at one point, but Wallace and Stackhouse were just too much. By the way, UCLA won the NCAA title that year, ODU dominated the CAA behind conference player of the year Petey Sessoms and beat Villanova in 3OT's in the first round of the tourney. The Monarchs fell to Tulsa in the second round.
for you UNC players, whos better at UNC......Stackhouse or Carter?
