Chapter 4

Mackenzies POV

I started walking to school and I was like 3 blocks away already. I had my headphones on and I was listening to Body Language by Jesse McCartney. I loved that song.

However then I saw him! He looked so cute; he had his dark black denim jeans with a white tee. He stood outside his girls house. Yup. He was waiting for her to walk to school together, like if she couldnt go on her own? School was just 3 blocks away!

Yet, suddenly she walked out. She quickly pecked him on his cheek and she smiled, and so did he. Hand in hand, he holds her books as she grabbed a hold of her purse. Ugh, what a girl! Well not saying thats bad but I dont know. I never really liked purses. They were too girly. Like waay too girly, but oh well. I guess thats the kinda person he was into. The girly girl.

Unluckily, I stood in the back. I had to walk behind them. I wouldnt mind walking behind him if he was alone but he was with her. This sucked! But oh well, just 3 blocks away, right?

So I walked and walkedlistening to my ipod. Good thing I had it or else id be listening to their conversation. Yeah..I was pretty close to them. They walked really sloow, but I dont blame them. We were going to school! Who likes school anyways?

Still suddenly I got tired of just seeing them look so into each other. Therefore I just crossed the street and walked on the other side. Ugh! Why didnt I think of this before? I couldve been away from their whole mushy girlfriend/boyfriend session.


School.

Minutes later I was already in school. I walked to my locker and grabbed my books for the first couple periods. I then headed to the cafeteria, to where Mikaela and I always met. I walked to our usual table and saw her there.

*Hey!* I said to her with a wave as I sat down on the table.
*Ohh hey, Mackenzie! Whats up?* she said with a smile and as she continued doing her homework.
*ohh nothing..* I said as I leaned over to see what homework she forgot to do today. Math. I laughed, she hated that subject.
*Whats so funny?* she asked sternly as she looked up from her homework.
I laughed again, * doing math homework again? Why dont you just do it at home? Or better question yet, why didnt you just take your book home yesterday? You said you had no homework,* I replied.
* What are you? My mother? You know how bad I am at math, why you even asking?* she told me.
*Well..you couldve taken your book home and go over it if you didnt understand it in class, dont ya think?* I questioned.
She looked back at her work, *Nope.* she clearly said.
*And why not?* I said trying to answer me with a real question.
*Cause..I didnt want to,* she answered.
*Ohh yeah..that explains a lot,* I said. And it did, I wasnt gonna make her do things she didnt want to. At the end itll be her loss, right?
