Unbelievable catchy tune I heard in José Padilla's Essential Mix 1995. http://oldisthenewneu.blogspot.com/2007/12/jose-padilla-essential-mix-1995.html
This track in the mix starts at 1:35:00.
Have to share it with you!

Bonus question - What is the relation with Hitman: Blood Money and this track?

  • 1995! Wow. Sounds and is timeless.

The sad thing about being a DJ of the last 10 years is that I'm searching for music more like this rather than most of the music presently being released. It's music like this that has so much more substance.

Pro-tools and all these automated programs have created "Hey I want to be a dance producer too" craze which have released so much garbage into the dance scene.

It's finding music such as this that keeps me on my mixer late at night.

  • Classic!

Such a nice piece of music....so deeeep!

My alltime favorite! Great Vid too!

    thanks for sharing :-)

  • @1czelaya I totally agree...................! its almost as if the bleepS & Blips & glitch sounds have taken over

  • What a track !!!! Very good choice indeed !! Nova Nova...We ' re now in 2010, and i still play that Fcommunication label record on my turntable... Love it ! Love it ! Timeless as you said...

  • Just glad to see that I'm not the only one.

All the major labels are losing alot of their creativity. It just seems that everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. Like you said, money talks.

It's ashame that electro craze has infected alot of genres of dance music.

Personally, I'm a progressive nut, and I don't understand the scene anymore.

I think what pisses me off most is that most of these so called fans of dance/electronica are in the scene bc it's the cool thing to do.

  • Damn, you're right on the money! What you're describing is exactly what's been bothering me for the last five years or so.

I guess it came from both sides though: not only did cdplayers make it much easier to dj and programs much easier to produce. The record companies (especially big ones like Defected) started distributing the popular simple electro kinda house.

It's all down to making money, like every other business :-( Little heart and soul left....

    Keep searching mate!!

  • I totally agree with you 1czelaya!

  • Nice tune. 5 stars.
