Except the Brachs in the Congo...

komodo dragons are LIZARDS not DINOSAURS

The ones that didn't need to adapt are probably here today. Ppl who comment and say others should do their research first should take their own advice and not be so mean! It's not a dinosaur! Nice vid tho

The two wattled cassowary is another example. A bird with a temper. Branded the closest we got ATM along with chickens and pigeons to dinos as they were..probably one of the earliest to evolve and escape mans clutches. Learnt from the poor dodos mistakes. The dinos that did survive and needed to adapt are around us still as some of today's birds

*not I mean.look at today's pet birds/chickens/birds of prey/garden birds etc etc.look at their eyes, feet, way they walk and call.listen to a crows call.look at emu/ostrich feet and the way they run and their temper...the extinct moa comes to mind.

This creature walks like today's lizards and like the ancient demitrodon (sp?). Their legs are to the side and they walk in a meandering fashion. Dinosaurs are what the name suggest...they all ONLY walked with their legs straight underneath them...not to the side. Pteradons and plesiosaurs and the like were also NLT dinosaurs.

The poster knows it's a Komodo dragon. However it has to be said this didn't evolve from dinosaurs. It was likely around at the same time or maybe even way before like today's crocs, alligators, spiders and silverfish etc etc which have evolved very little or not at all...with no real need to.

It's no more a dinosaur than my pet parakeet.
