@MrLesbg1982 Haha yes! Thankyou for clearing that up for me as I just turned 15 and I am thinking about joining the army when I leave school. Don't know what regiment yet though :|

Common sense prevails {sadly lacking amongst many you tube viewers} yes it is thrown away from you to hide the fact you are moving under its cover so they do not know where you are.

@NickyTBeats die alll of you GAYS!!!

@liamcoombs96 You obviously misread. I said to disrupt. That means the Taliban had a clear view of who there shooting at. Smoke covers a wide area so no it doesn't make it easier.

@USMarineRifleman0311 lol you must be fairly stupid so i'l just help you out a bit, obviously the video cuts in at a random time so i'm sure there were orders before and they didn't just start shooting randomly, how else would they have known to use the smoke to cover them? jhEEz!
-
@borofalcon101 Could that actually help the taliban see them as well or do they throw the smoke away from them? The taliban could just shoot in the smokes general area if they throw it by themselves.

@aalsha3 ...Afghanistan, the Marxist regime actually held their own better than they had done alongside the Soviets, for three years, mainly because the CIA were lacking interest again, now that the Soviets were out and the Mujahedding relied on the Saudis solely. Had the CIA never gotten involved, odds are that most of the Mujaheddin would've been wiped out. Then there's the Stingers. A common misconception is that these are still around, but the cooling units die after ~5 years.
