My son, Casey, is doing some basic flight training with me in my RV-7. On this flight, he does his first power-off stalls. We were in some scattered clouds, so I had to do some positioning turns to keep out of the clouds, and showed some power-off turning stalls. This was shot over Arlington, WA with a Hero HD GoPro set at the r6 setting.

Enjoy!

  • I am not CFI rated. Casey gets plenty of stick time with me, including pattern work, stalls, cross country navigation, and aerobatics. He does radio calls in the pattern and on the ground. But he can't log any of it because I don't have the CFI.

  • is casey gay? or mentally retarded? Sir? answer the question.

  • This is a cool video! I had the chance to go up in an rv-4 right out of Arlington too. It was great fun. We even circled the tower that is near the summit of Mt. Pilchuck! Cool little planes they are.

  • @strat6969 Oh of course I know, I was was just wondering!

  • @IRproductionstudios Doesn't matter if he is or isn't.. There's nothing wrong with giving someone a little training and stick time. He just can't log it as PIC time.

  • are you not CFI rated?

  • best wishes to Casey

  • Very nice, best of luck with his training
