  • I guess if you think a liar, convicted felon and hypocrite makes a "hero", then, sure he's one of the greatest.

  • Stick it up the Japs mate

  • The japaneese must have been doing a shitload of whaling when he was doing this interview

  • @mxhm No we won't. Paul Watson keeps making that claim because he is an egomaniac that honestly believes he's saving the world. That's an unbelievable amount of hubris. Like his hyperbole he has an endless supply of it. No doubt his $90,000.00 "volunteer compensation" for three months worth of work a year has nothing to do with it. That's 9 X the amount most of those hard working people he attacks make in a whole year. He's just a well fed con man that's not even a captain. He's a skipper.

  • Nitpick about the video description: The whaling Watson fights is perfectly legal. The Japanese are granted a quota by the International Whaling Commission and they don't exceed it. I repeat: perfectly legal.

  • I love what they do (Sea Shep) but they need to train harder and be more disciplined on that ship. I think when you put a bunch of hippies together, you get lackluster results. I believe that they could make a more significant dollar value impact if they were more disciplined and better trained.

  • @fondue22645 Sea Shepherd is getting more and more support each year, and they are going to win the war against japanese whalers in the Southern Ocean. So who cares what people think? We're winning anyway.

  • Nature needs people like those in sea shepherd, but how can an organization gain the outside (political) influence it needs when it's principals are so inherently flawed. The SS Society wage war against the whalers by provoking them until they get a reaction and then slaughtering them in the media with lies. Their founder and president openly endorses a no-truth policy and their funding is based on blinding the willing and the ignorant with false righteousness.
