Exclusive Video: Simon Helberg guest stars on Kick Buttowski — Suburban Daredevil!

Has Kick Buttowski finally met his match — in a group of toddlers? In this week's episode of the Disney XD cartoon Kick Buttowski — Suburban Daredevil, the fearless adrenaline junkie takes on the seemingly simple assignment of serving as a bodyguard for classmate Ronaldo (voiced by The Big Bang Theory's Simon Helberg). When Ronaldo wants to go for a whirl on the playground ride known as "the Wiggler," Kick must face off against a pack of precocious preschoolers who don't like to share.

All this because Kick has been named Ronaldo's understudy in the school production of Romeo and Juliet. And Kick really doesn't want to be drafted into service, so he goes out of his way to make sure Ronaldo can take the stage — even if it means getting involved in a rugrat rumble.

The episode, "Power Play," airs Saturday at 11am/10c on Disney XD.

@mbrauer Sandro Corsaro also alluded to a multitude of upcoming Kick and Kendall (not necessarily romantic)episodes, so there's still hope!

@mbrauer Such as Arnold and Helga, Jimmy Neutron and Cindy Vortex, etc.. we can notice that throughout the show there were many instances when one of the two would feign hate or replusion in order to either save their reputation or convince themselves that weren't attracted to the other. For the 3 times that Helga kissed Arnold against his will (one of which was also a staged "Romeo and Juliet" one- go figure!), the creators assured the public that if the final Jungle Movie had been created,

@mbrauer Yet, something about that moment struck me as strange. Kick's head was hanging as though in defeat. hmm. Nevertheless, the moment when Kick actually harms himself just to not have to kiss Kendall is soul-crushing. I refuse to let this ship sink, though. I have a gut feeling this isn't the end of 'Kindall". After-all, if we compare kindall to other famous cartoon couples that started with love-hate and ended being canonized

@mbrauer Though Kick was reluctant to kiss Kendall, it could be because he still believes he should despise and be repulsed by her, or that he isn't even aware of his subconscious attraction to her (that is, if we're arguing for the sake of Kindall). Kick had multiple dream segments of kissing Kendall (but this could mean nothing), and the first time he was told to be the understudy he seemed to be borderline begging the director not to make him the understudy.

@mbrauer first, ( and the most generic) is that Kick is repulsed by the idea of a relationship with Kendall. However, this theory doesn't hold true for past episodes such as "Dancing with the Enemy" and "Hand in Hand". In those episodes Kick did seem to get closer to kendall, even to the point where he blushed, or complimented her. Thus, i bring up the second perspective this episode can be looked at...

@mbrauer i prefer the term "pessimist" but that's not the point. Unfortunately my doubts were well-founded, as my prediction came true D: However, as much as i resent ship-teases i don't believe for a second that this is the end of "Kindall". Kick's reactions to having to kiss Kendall can be explained in 2 ways.

@royalex21 What i think will happen is that Kick will fail near the end and have to play romeo, but just as they are acting out a romantic scene Kick himself will get hurt and uhh... i guess another kid will play romeo.

@royalex21 unfortunately i think that the kiss will probably be in a dream segment. Like when Kick is told he might be romeo if Ronaldo gets hurt (and kendall is juliet) he imagines the worst-case scenario which apparently is them kissing again. So kick goes out of his way to make certain that no harm comes to Ronaldo so that (as the understudy) he won't have to take his place.
