Climate Change Rally, Melbourne, 7 August 2010

I took my camera to a rally on the steps of Parliament. The rally was supported by the Climate Emergency Network and Beyond Zero Emissions (authors, with the University of Melbourne, of the Zero Carbon Australia Report http://beyondzeroemissions.org/zero-carbon-australia-2020). Also by the Melbourne University Climate Action Working Group. Adam Bandt (Greens candidate for the marginal Labor/Greens seat of Melbourne spoke.)

There's no proof that there's an increase in the greenhouse effect as a result of carbon dioxide output. We need to start using more renewable sources of energy (nuclear power is probably the most viable), but lies have been stirred up by these activists and hippies.

How DARE Sean Bedlam impose his cunty science-centric cunt views on the people who aren't convinced of climate change. Those people are entitled to their own belief systems, and if they want to believe in things that are less accurate than our best available information at the moment, even if it's just for emotional comfort, then that's no excuse for being a cunt. DaNile is not just a river in Egypt! People are stupid. They will not change until it's too fackin late. Did you see the vid of the two gents getting into a Sauna where they knew the Temp was going to be raised to 110 degrees Celsius (23 degrees Faren.).
