  • OK let me see this right. You get health care or we will fine you up to 3800. Ok now say I do not pay this fine you take any taxes I get back so if I have no money then the IRS takes my home in the name of health care.

Wake up if you have no money for it then you get fined for it, then you do not pay that what is next jail? Are that stupid to think that will not be used?

  • The Republicans did a great job on killing President Clinton's boom time economic prosperity.

  • Liberals are so fucking stupid plus they are pussies

  • Seriously ... this does NOT represent the working class americans out here trying to provide for their families - thats why the don't want to post it for people to read. the 5% of "people" out there would break it down for the rest of us to understand. Congressmen are ADMITTING they wont be reading the bill ... just the watered down version... then they will vote on it ...

Call your congressman - tell him - We want to read the bill!

  • Who wrote this trash? It certainly wasn't Baucus. He's too dumb. I imagine the greedy, thieving, money-grubbing criminal executives who work for insurance companies dreamed up this nonsense while smashed drunk from guzzling expensive skotch whiskey & water. Either that or they all took the afternoon off to play a $3,000 (each) round of golf, threw a kegger instead, & then got plowed on Lowenbrau beer & rot-gut cheap bourban. In drunken stupors they authored this pathetic insurance slut plan.

  • Doctors Say Health Care Rationing Already Exists [NPR - 01-Jul]

"In America, we strictly ration health care. We've done it for years...But in contrast to other wealthy countries, we don't ration medical care on the basis of need or anticipated benefit. In this country, we mainly ration on the ability to pay. And that is especially evident when you examine the plight of the uninsured in the United States."

This is why the wealthy/powerful fear health care reform.

  • It always amuses me when people assume I fight for universal health care because I personally don't have any.

"We who want health care for all are good, brave people. The ones who don't are cowardly and bad. Do you want to be courageous or afraid?" -- The Rude Pundit

  • No when they speak of rationing healthcare, it's to "hold back" or "save".

You'll keep hearing them say, "savings". That's not the savings you have from a low cost healthcare plan. That's why healthcare will have to have rationing, less taxs will be taken in then what will be going out in threatments and care.

    Hence "rationing healthcare".

But I like that, I do have mine, so get your damn own. And stop begging like a bum.

  • You do understand that when you say health care reform means rationing, you're really saying you want to keep the status quo - basic wellness services unavailable to millions of people - so you don't have to worry about longer lines. You do understand that, don't you?

  • You do understand that health care is rationed already by the insurance behemoths, don't you? By denying claims on a whim, by turning down treatments as experimental, by rescinding policies on pretenses such as unreported acne, all to reduce "medical loss" and increase the profit bottom line.

  • it was pointed out in the house committee hearing today at how the govenment will have to fund public option.

The amount of taxs(fees, fines what ever you want to call them) wouldn't cover the cost. it was said the healthcare would have to be rationed. As I put it, denied.

public option was voted down today, only because amny have open their eyes to waht it really is.

Don't you think it's about time you open your eyes as well.
