This is brilliant. You perfectly articulated what I have been trying to say for years. The only part I disagree with, although it may just be that I have misunderstood, is that end bit about wrist locks and things.Grappling can be broken down into basic concepts and made intuitive. I'm not talking sport based crap but true martial meth chimp arm snappy neck twisty stuff.

Great video. Thanks

Lot of parroting of Tony Blauer and Senshido, would be good if you actually gave some credit to others material that you are using! Sorry if im being to harsh here mate, but is that a fair enough comment?

Good Video... This is very true. You can not possibly train for every single type of attack or encounter you may come across in real life. Real life altercations are always different then they are in training or in the dojo. I like to use a few concepts and ideas that you can apply to any type of situation such as combative systems like SPEAR, Senshido, and Kelly McCann's stuff. Its still fun to practice the traditional stuff though, just try not to train bad habits. Train Hard... Fight Easy!

This sounds a mighty lot like about 8 Senshido dvds I own, are you and Rich affiliated?

Not yet, although he personally requested me to do so. I'm working on getting my gym up and running first, and then will go for the affiliation after I get a good business going.
Thanks for watching!
