Does anyone know the whole meaning behind the lyrics? Specifically the part "Since you can't say to me how the dogs broke your bone." What's that mean. Is there a story behind that?

Well the whole song is about Andy Wood and that he died from a drug overdose. Since you can't say to me how(he's dead)the dog( the drugs) broke your bone(killed him). that's my guess

I take it as it says...... The dogs (society and the law) cant Break Andrew Wood....... They were living in Seattle...... But Heroin Broke his bone.....The COLD ground was his bed....But the earth was his home...........PURE GENIUS... And AWESOME gutair... LOVEMLB and Chris Cornell.........
