  • Some of us will be losing our jobs because of these eejit who admitted on film that he didnt know a thing about banking! So F**k off with ur namby pamby 'you're being cruel'

  • This is what happens when you demutualise a building society and turn it into a song and dance act. The deal with Lloyds may not go through - the shareholders don't seem too happy about it. Then the shit really hits the fan. The govt will have to nationalise it, in which case Mr. Brown should remutualise the Halifax mortgage business and give it back to the people of Halifax UK who know how to look after it.

  • Spasticated gay bastard! He fucks his mother up the shitter every night too.

  • Fucking prick...

If I'd had 3K for every time I've been shafted by HBOS I would've been able to bail the fuckers out myself.

  • I worked at HBOS plc for 4 years and hated every second of it. The company had absolutely no ethical or moral standards, much like the people who worked there that were 'good at their job'.

The bank actively lured vulnerable people into cycles of debt to make as much profit as possible. Overdraft --> Credit Cards --> Loan --> Arrears Recovery --> Courts Order..that's how they wanted it to play out, pay off debt by offering even more debt.

They didn't give a crap about their customers.

  • Englishhermit ur havin a laugh aint ya it was the "H" in HBOS who F***** it! By trying to be the biggest mortgage lender in great britain he put us in S*** it was the mortgage business that was bringing us down. Not the banking business and certainly not Bank of Scotland corporate which was the most profitable part of the business. Lloyds must be laughing up there sleeves at getting such a bargain!

  • He'll be laughing what with his golden handshake..I jest of course, golden handshakes are prohibited. What I meant to say was his 'consultancy fee.' I wonder what the gentlemans agreement for his duration as 'consultant' really was? Perhaps a few of the poor sods that are now going to lose their jobs just might have earned a similiar figure in a lifes time of work. Probably not on jobseeker allowance however. Congratulations golden boy.

  • You're too cruel!!
