The romantic ballad from Sierra's King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow. It is sung from the perspectives of Prince Alexander and Princess Cassima and plays during the credits at the end of the game. One of my favorite songs of my childhood!

Composed by Mark Seibert
Lyrics by Jane Jensen
Vocals: Bob Bergthold & Debbie Seibert
Guitar: Ron Delarmon

  • I've seen on IMDB that Jane Jensen has written the lyrics of this song.

  • @steupmusic Thanks for pointing that out. I've updated the info to give her credit.

  • or if you actually have the original cd, like someone i know does *cough, me cough* you can actually put it in a regular cd player and go to track 2, and the song plays

  • Just don't let Track 1 play... it sounds crazy because it's a data track that isn't meant to be played on a CD player. If I didn't hit the "skip" button soon enough, it used to scare the tar out of my cat when I was a kid haha.

  • wow. Alexander is the most badass guy ever. Who else would risk his life countless times just to get some pussy?

  • Man, do I really miss playing this game. I would spend hours playing and getting lost in the world of the game. I actually felt like I was Prince Alexander!

Remember those talking baby tomatos in the Isle of Wonder? Goo Goo Gaa Gaa! And then they would move there mouth out of sync. God I miss those days. Nothing else mattered back then.

  • @Kahran042 I think it's because it's just so damn cheesy =P

  • Dead to Rights

  • Man, I don't see why everyone hates this song so much. I know that I, personally, really like it unironically.

  • This song was originally sung by Jollo.

Unfortunately, it was too beautiful to be recorded, so they had to go with this shit version instead. It's said that whoever hears the Jollo version immediately orgasms with the force of a thousand suns.

  • Jane Jensen? thats a odd way to spell jollo

  • In b4 retsupurae references.

  • I'm in a foreign land, and feel completely out of place. I could use a helping hand, a magic smap to point the way... Babe in a castle....

Yeah, that song was on youtube but it was taken down. I didn't make it and I don't know what happened to it. It was a good parody.

... if our love isn't meant to stay, this kingdom's full of random babes...

babe armed for battle, stealth ninja clan...

  • yayy i love this. and now my kids have been playing the KQ series, and we just finished the Fan created King's Quest 9 - The Silver Lining. awesome :)

  • These games were my childhood. Playing them with my family, trying to figure things out and cheering when we did. True games like this brought families together and made memories. I'll never forget these games.
