A couple of technicals...James Burton recorded this song with his red Telecaster, not this Rickenbacker. Also this is one of his first recordings using an electric bass (probably Joe Osborn), while a stand up bassist (probably James Kirkendoll) is pictured. Also, why did they never picture Ray Johnson, his pianist on any of these end-of-show videos?

I remember this song from my childhood, it should have been a hit. Well it was in our home anyway! The Beatles Ballad of John and Yoko uses the same bassline( about 8 years later)

This song reminds me of Treat Me Nice by Elvis Presley lol! I wish I was around back then soooo bad!!!! The times then were so fun & innocent! I would have loved to have been around during Ricky's prime, I would've been one of those crazy teenagers with my bedroom wall plastered of all his pictures! =)

I too wish I would have had the oppotunity to meet him. I LOVE HIS MUSIC!!!

James Burton ( right hand side guitarist) played a very big role in promoting Ricky Nelson as a singer. His guitar twang during those late 50s and early 60s era were really innovative and very
original ! Hat to James !!
