Greek Royals

The Kings and Queens of modern Greece. The Kingdom of the Hellenes existed from 1832 to 1924, was restored in 1935 and lasted until 1974. The first monarch was the Bavarian King Otto I who had dreams of restoring the Byzantine Empire. He was overthrown in a coup and was replaced by Prince William of Denmark who became King George I. Greece was troubled with Balkan conflicts, could hardly avoid being caught up in World War I and was invaded by Italy and later Germany in World War II. Civil war raged after independence with the royalists victorious but nonetheless King Constantine II was overthrown in a military coup in 1974. He has lived in exile ever since. His heir is Crown Prince Pavlos who married the American Marie-Chantal Miller in 1995.

Long live King Constantine and the Royal Family of Greece!  Better were the days when there was democracy and order, freedom and justice. Now look at us, our own "politicians" betray us and stab us in the back to benefit their pockets! Greece needs a true government, a true ruler who cares for her and her people. Long live Constantine II of Royal Greece!

Monarchies are more anchored to there countries,A regal sovereign fiscal decisions today will haunt them down the road into the future and their children will inherit that mess unlike an elected official who can run off abroad after his term is done & shirk responsibility.

Monarchy should be restored in every country that originally had a ruling monarchy..like Greece, Italy, Bulgaria and Germany...I would add France to the list but the savage revolutionaries decapitated the royal family. Monarchy is beautiful and if you cared to do some research you would see that some of the countries with higher life quality level and fewer economical problems are the ones who STILL have their monarchies (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, UK, etc).
