/ Happy Halloween \ [read description]

Dedicated to xXShadeoftheNightXx because shes awesome, and cause she has survived yet another year on this crazy planet. Happeh (belated) birthday! X3
And happy halloween everyone! :D

...and dear lord, I actually have a storyline this time! *cue exaggerated gasps*
OH NOES!

.:Story:.
The sun dims on the horizon, the pridelands eclipsed in a crimson sunset. A lone lion (Simba) ambles along in the dark, gawking at the scene of macabre and devastation that he encounters. He is disoriented, and has amnesia—only vague falshes of memory (of an elephant skull, it would seem) remain. As he stares out into the night, a sequence of thoughts unfold, and his memories slowly begin to return
...and, meanwhile, a sinsister figure lurks in the shadows...
Days before (as remembered by Simba), Todd is venturing through the woods. He is startled, however, when he hears the piercing cry of Nala, who is massacred by an unknown assilant nearby. When Todd hears of this, he rushes to tell Copper, who was Nalas best friend. Copper erupts into rage, and rushes to find the culprit—when he finds that Nalas murderer has vanished, he turns on Todd, who watches Copper from the railroad tracks above. Copper blames Todd for not protecting Nala, and swears to kill him if he gets the chance.
Disheartened, Todd races off to inform his other friend, Simba, of Nalas death. Simba is devastated, and Todd departs to find shelter. Simba recalls his childhood with Nala, but then realizes that Kiara could be in danger. However, Kiara does not believe the urgency of her father—in typical "teenage" fashion, she disobeys and escapes after dark. But a fire spills over the pridelands, and she is slaughtered via fangs to the throat before she can make it home.
Meanwhile, Copper stumbles upon Todd, and they initiate a fatal duel.
We then return to Simbas perspective, still hovering over the remains of the pridelands. As he stands over the Gorge, he comes to a startling realization-- he and the killer are one and the same.
Upon recognizing his madness, he stumbles off into the Gorge. He hallucinates, believing that his father is calling out for him to save him... just as another figure emerges from the shadows...

...yeah, the end. :3 I tried to emphasize atmosphere more than anything in this vid, so I hope it feels somewhat eerie, or something. I dunno. I don't much like how this turned out, and the story is confuzzling xD But hope you guys somewhat like it anyway!
