Georgia House Bill 179: Billboards gittin' r' dun over Public's trees

Perhaps not surprisingly, Georgia legislators are falling all over themselves to appease the billboard industry and their unceasing efforts to clearcut all public trees in front of the state's thousands of privately owned billboards.

In this installment of "Race to the Bottom," Dan and Ron point out this bad legislation is not only misguided and arguably stupid, but that it goes against the clearly expressed wishes of Georgia's electorate.

Who represents ya? Apparently not your Georgia General Assembly. They are practically racing to push this unpopular bill through.
