There really is something beautiful about the friendship that Alan and Denny share, it reminds me of myself and someone I've been friends with since we were 10. Our lives have taken us in different directions, but whenever I watch BL, it always reminds me of us when we do manage to spend some time together. If life was fair, everyone would feel this kind of love for someone of the same sex at least once in their life.
