hi im lvling a scoundrel healer too. wanna know which companion is best to partner with?

@bochup87 I leveled with Bowdaar cause I thought he was the only tank but apparently Corso can tank as well (some say he's better). Risha is great DPS but she died too much for me. Later when you get a healer, you can start using him and focusing on damage.

Leveling a Scoundrel as an alt, my current main is Sith Juggernaut(tanking) so its fun to do some healing at times!

@ZoultxSC2 healing in this game is a lot of fun, especially as a Scoundrel. Being able to stealth and do decent damage is awesome.

@systemXeffect Corso is great for scoundrel smugglers b/c he has a harpoon ability that pulls mobs to him allowing you to easily get position for backblast, etc.

@Bombalurina05 Not an answer but i've seen scoundrels hit a little over 200k healing. Obviously in quick matches you are not going to hit those numbers. Sages tend to have bigger numbers but I think they are getting adjusted.

@Splatztki you have 1 CC break on a 2 min timer so don't rely on that. In the Dirty Tricks skill tree, there is a root break that you can trait (surrender). Now about getting away, you do have several CC options: flash grenade (breaks on damage), dirty kick(does not break on damage)...can also be traited for a speed buff, and a root/slow (stronger if traited). You can also hit your Defenses screen and then your 3 sec bubble.  You also have heals on the run.

Thanks for actually showing the animations that's really the only reason I watched the video lol considering rerolling my operative as a scoundrel instead because my friend plays on light side :x

And scoundrel talents aren't bugged so that's a huge plus :P

Very nice guide. Looking forward to more - i'd be interested in some thoughts on how to survive becoming involved in melee combat and getting away from the effects that stun or somehow slows you.

@bochup87 the first one you get i went from 1 to 50 with no problems with bonus quests or story quests and its easy to just sit back and just heal youre ranged tank and with harpoon you can CC one elite target and back up and use him to pull the other to safe aoe ranged youre tank companion uses
