@issofunky You know, Concrete Blonde has been my favorite, most beloved band since I first heard them 20 years ago. I also really loved Grunge music. It's really possible to like both. Grunge music wasn't all "poor me." There were so many songs about activism and doing something good for this world. It was about heart rather than looks. Please don't put it in the same genre as "gangster rap." There were some fun grunge songs, too. "Sliver" and "Breed" come to mind.

you know...when I was 19 I hated this song.....and loved all her others. Now...at 35....oddly, This song really brings me back to a time when Oingo Boingo hadn't yet been forgotten and rock was still fun....and the seatle "poor-me" grungers hadn't yet washed in completely....
