Casarez and Cantu did not handle the situation ethically because they vehemently supported Starnes without all the facts. Council voted to stop the investigation and took his word as only lying on one item. Their belief was that others have done worse. Unbelievable, do they not believe that Eagle Pass deserves better? We had to rely on the Express News for the facts. Next election we need to remember the actions of this council.
