Muay Thai fight taking place in Lumpini stadium. For the life of me I can't identify the fighters, so if anyone can point them out send me a message. Here's part 1 of the fight. I have more and will upload more depending on the response. Part 2 of this fight is located at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJm-PxuO2uY

  • What are you basing the guess that Masato claims to be a muay-thai stylist?

Do you speak Japanese? Have you ever listened to him speak and heard him say that he is a thai boxer?

Masato has never claimed to be a thai boxer, because he isn't!

  • @TheTramsen It is because we eat a lot everyday . And work it out everyday . Like sports is all , never lift weights . Don't know why .

  • @TheTramsen due to the climate we experience and the carbo/glucose-rich food we eat almost everyday (e.g.. rice..)

  • does anybody know the biological reason for why east-asians have such a non-visible muscle build? I mean, I bet these 2 fighters hit just as hard as some of the top european, american, african etc MT-fighters - but yet asians bodies look always LOOK very skinny/weak - why is that?

  • The best fight for me !!!! So technik

  • @Skellyman99

Really?! I am DYING to get live Lumpini / Rajadamnern fights!! I wish I could see live fights from Thailand here on Canadian television!!! Maybe there's a website that streams high profile fights? I want this so bad. :(

  • @RegistrationCop Good comment - but the answer is they do it because big business requires big insurance - and big insurance requires a lessening of death and injury - also it becomes socially targeted. What most people don't realize is that vicarious violence in sports is a social outlet and control rather than an increasing factor of violence. Same could be said of violent movies and cartoons. The real news of real events causes more violence than controlled or fake violence.

  • @Skellyman99 I must admit these ridiculous rules in the UFC are totally moronic. It now makes some fighters at a disadvantage. I can't understand why they do this. Probably to appeal to the average idiot fat slob who watches boxing fights on pay per view.

  • Carrying on from the last posts i think Masato went to Thailand to train so i'am pretty sure he learned Muay thai while he is in Thailand.

  • and so Muay Thai remains as the most completely authentic fighting art (with rules) and also you will note is one of the most ritualistic - hence the most culturally advanced (in popular culture - many indiginous and retreated societies retain this honour - such as stick fighting - but not as popular).
