In hindsight, Garbage was a gateway band for me to the northern European symphonic metal bands, like Nightwish, Epica, Sirenia, and Within Temptation.
F**king loved Garbage back in high school when they released Vow and Only Happy when it Rains as singles. Shirley Manson has the sexiest voice ever. Simone MIGHT be more talented as a singer, maybe even more beautiful too but I will always have a soft spot for Shirley, Butch Vig and Garbage.
Can't wait for their next album.

Those who complain about women being unsafe these days are also the ones who vote in the libs that make the country unsafe for everyone. It wasn't that long ago that you could leave your car unlocked without worrying about it being gone when you came back. It was the communist movement of the 60's that brought us to the point of actually electing one to be our president today.We are now living in a country that the founding fathers of our country would be ashamed of. Shirley Manson forever!

@SBS336 Sure. You named a few fields that have equal pay or where women have higher salaries (nursing, for example.) But if you look at ALL fields, not just the big ones, women still lag behind. To go another way: women are still harassed on the street. Even though we have the right to go where we want or wear what we want, in theory, in practicality it all comes down to the same thing. Men are rarely cat-called on the streets. Men don't have to fear for their safety when on the tube home. Etc.
