Is it just me or is there a spot in this where it sounds like it could be from spider man??

wonderful, very beautiful, i love Beethoven, i really enjoy it, thanks.

@555paint Life is beautiful. :P

@Cedericoco But i have noticed some strange pairings of late that make want to register a slight protest. For example someone posts a lot of the Shotakovich and Prokofiev symphonies--great, thanks--but insists on uploading these glorified paintings of Joe Stalin and Hitler! I mean WTF? This wasnt that bad becuase that person is making some kinda of twisted political statement and here is is a matter of taste.
-
@Cedericoco Your right --it is the music that is important not the photos. I would have done something different but I agree if someone such as yourself sees it a different way....I am a historian by training so I am a bit partial to chronological progression but some of the creative bent could see it differently. Kinda makes me sea sick but there you have it. I really didnt think it that big a deal.
-
I was mostly here for the music, and I didn't pay much attention to the paintings, though I don't mind them either... Nevertheless, I agree, perhaps there would probably be something that "suits" this dramatic piece better than those pics... But, as confessed by "chreugneugneu", he just likes Egmont and also those pics, an decided to put them together. There's no specific relation between the music and the paintings, as you could notice, with a little aggrabation.. David you say?
-
@Cedericoco Anyways I am sure we agree it is a great piece of music and great paintings (mostly) but for me just not together but for you...yes. I was trying to think what I would have uploaded by way of paintings: probably lots of David.

@gregbboy619 well i apologize if my comments were taken as sarcastic--i thought it was just light banter--and also if you think I did not take ur comments seriously. I can see I should have approached it differently from the start. I can't agree the music matches up with the photo montage but OK, if you do and it enhances your experience OK. SOrry if you felt you didnt get chance to explain why.
-
@555paint Maybe you are right. Anyway, everyone sees ( as u said ) things in his own May. ;)
-
@gregbboy619 well u probably have a lot of practice talking to yourself anyways. But OK you see things one way and I see them another. I have objected to other photo montages as well. For example when someone posts a Shostakovich symphony and then adds a bunch of glorified paintings of Stalin....but anyways you didnt make any big efffort to explain what you meant until last post so I can't be held to responsible...you shoulda said rigth away what you thought.
dont get the photo show and the music---do they really make sense together?

@555paint Libre à chacun de laisser vagabonder son imagination !

@chreugnegneu Yeah, you can imagine rationality away too. Modernist paintings just don't make sense with a 19th century romantic.
