Listen and enjoy.

  • impressive fm sound on one el piano sound:))

i love my fulltines on my tx 802 modul:)

  • @ballademaker

The 802 is brilliant, but a totally different beast.

    I regret selling it.

  • What's the name of the song? Do you have an mp3 sample of the entire song through the 816?

  • @jcsf9

Name of the song is 'Someone' by El deBarge.

It's on his self tittled album from 1986.

    I lost the MP3, sorry.

  • Nice to see the old girl on yubtub. I've got a 416 myself.

  • @soupforare

You can hear in the vid that with four the sound is already big enough.

    I have come across plenty 816's and 216's but never a 416.

    That's pretty cool.

    Never sell it, mate.

  • I must say no matter how good the programming, a Softsynth will never sound as good as this!!

  • oh my god!!

  • Hi! Great job! Congratulation! Awesome, beautiful, wonderful, EP ! I love play it... However, what patch it's?

  • Can you post the different tunings you used for each module?

  • @ballademaker i am happy to own a TX816-TX 802-DX1_DX7 still killer sounds.

  • hi.

What sound do you use?, how is it called?

    What patch It´s?

  • I remember getting a factory demo of the TX816 combined with an RX-21 playing Dave Grusin's St. Elsewhere. I was so impressed and amazed. I wish I had a copy of that MIDI file!!!

  • These are a bargain at the moment. If you know how to dig into FM synthesis they are full of great sonic ability. Being able to fatten up using multiple modules detuned certainly helps. Mine is coupled to the MV802 mixer (designed to compliment the TX)

If brought onto the market new today you'd pay close to 12 grand for one (1985 price of approx 5500 x averaged inflation since of 2.91 %) Grab one before they become in vogue again =)
