@MAGNUM2F Dio was one of the great METAL vocalists of all time no doubt. But what really helped him stanhd out from the pack were his lyrics. They were so amazing. Poetry and storytelling at its highest form.

You guys don't mention Dio's often overlooked 3rd album with Black Sabbath, Dehuminizer, which was released in the early 90's. It was an awesome album, and was the best Sabbath album since Mob Rules if you don't consider Heaven & Hell basically Black Sabbath without the name.
Dehuminizer was so heavy. Bone crushing heavy. Ear drum destroying heavy. Not as good as the Heaven and Hell/Mob Rules twins, but damn good anyway.

Dio passing was sad for a lot of reasons. I'm especially bummed that with his death we won't get to see where Dio and the Sabbath guys would of went with further Heaven & Hell albums . It was an excellent "debut" record, though I pretty much consider it a continuation of Black Sabbath with Dio which means it was, in my humble opinion, the best Sabbath record since Dehuminizer.

Dio was one of the greatest metal singers of all time it is such a shame he passed away last year at 66 years old my dad died on June 5th 2011 at the age of 66 years of lou gehrig's disease which is a disease that destryoys all your muscles he died in the hospital my mom and dad were married for 35 years I miss him so much I wish I could bring him back but can't he was a great father and very caring person and loving person as well.
