@geocgeo I like when he corrected the interviewer & gave the guy who taught him the fundamentals in middle school credit & recognition. I remember watching this guy on espn classics. One of the purest shooters of all-time.

Sam Jones one of the top N.B.A. players ever. Being a Boston Celtics fan and watching Sam and the NBA since the early 60's believe me he was called Mr. Clutch for a reason. Wilt would jump out trying to block one of those beautiful bank shots of his and Sam would tell him "TOO LATE" and Sam was telling the truth You could put 2 more points on the scoreboard for the Celtics. And Wilt would get pissed hearing that too late but could do nothing about it. Thanks for the memories Mr. Sam Jones.

Brother Sam Jones is one of the greatest shooting guards of all time. Ask Jerry West and ask brother Oscar Robertson.
