I'm using this footage to start a video editing project called the life of a fameous person and I chose Elvis beacuse he's the greatest, the video starts in 1977 but then goes from 1956 and ends with media coverage of his death, so I'm going to throw in some movie and preformance clips exct... in honor of E's 77th birthday.

@olechevy - It just pisses me off olechevy when they use the term "fat Elvis" only because earlier he'd been trim & slender. But, if you look at his face & TV will make you look heavier -- his is not even John Belushi round & fat. His legs are skinny -- he has little ass. It was all midriff. It's usually what women get in middleage. Elvis had colon problems & that is a sympton. His voice? That never failed him. Wow...he was just so powerful even in these last concerts.

I agree Elvis looks great, just a littele overweight I think people are just stupid to, make fun of him at this stage of his career, Elvis is so cool even in '77 his songs were so awesome, rather you like him or hate him, you got to adimire his charisma on stage r.i.p. E

Look at him..may have been a little overweight but he wasn't Mick Farley fat. He has the midriff weight of a man over 40. Even I had that & I was always 165 lbs. I'm not making excuses - he doesn't look as good as he did younger. But, he is not what all those jerks like to display in their parodies & cartoons & he DOES move on stage. It's sad, but there's no reason to exaggerate his condition. Presley on a bad day, is usually far better than most artists performing today.
