@WakemanFan90 The XS doesn't have slots for the PLG expansion boards anymore. SHAME on Yamaha! On the other hand the XS has more sample ROM and uses up to 8 elements per voice. Combined with the new "Expanded Articulation" (XA) mode (for natural sounding legato-, staccato- and released notes-effects like for example guitar slides etc.) and some new additional effects (vocoder etc.) it sounds a bit better in general (a matter of taste anyway).

Hi,
is it posible to use this via midi keyboard in real time (arpegiator music styles and to play a solo instrument at the same time?
how about the styles? can that be called via midi keyboard (program change) with out stoping? exemple: start the song with an R&B and the second part a Latin?
