can someone please tell me how is this song shown in the show?? does she sing it before Henry appears?? or does she sing it with Henry there listening?? or after Henry leaves?? i've only seen the off-broadway version and there's no video of this song, so i'd really appreciate the info

This song isn't about using piano to get into college, its about using a talent, an ability or ANYTHING to get out of the suffocating atmosphere that you can not live in a second longer. Its about trying to escape.

I love the relatability in this song, anybody trying to get into a college with the help of an extra-curricular can relate to it. Basketball, drama, actual school work, anything. I know it only talks about piano but you can still relate.
