I'm 14 and I love this show! I watch it when I get time. And for all those Ernie fans out there, Ernie will return in season 42, performed by good ol' Steve Whitmire!

Yeah.. no. Kids still enjoy the Muppets and Sesame Street. They may not be the same as they used to be.. but neither are the kids.

I don't think this was the exact first new Ernie appearance since Henson's death. That same year (1993), Ernie sang "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon" with Aaron Neville, but they recycled the original 1978 Henson voice track for it.
