Rugged, lightweight Edge attaches easily to the stem or handlebars of your bike with the included bike mount. Just turn it on, acquire GPS satellites and go. Edge 305 automatically measures your speed, distance, time, calories burned, altitude, climb and descent, and records this data for your review. For extra-precise climb and descent data, Edge 305 also incorporates a barometric altimeter to pinpoint changes in elevation.

  • What I love is now I can't quite trust what the guy says. The heart rate monitor does not wrap around your forearm, it goes around your chest. Anybody who actually uses this stuff knows that...

  • this guy has no idea what he is talking about.

i really hate when someone actually makes a living out of talking bullshit

  • I live in FL my friend. Clermont, FL to be exact. We have tons of hills around here. Ever heard of Sugarloaf Mountain. It is only the second highest point in FL. Google it. I wished it was flat.

    SugarLoaf in FLORIDA.

I can't put the link, so put this in the search bar here on Youtube.

    "Cycling up sugarloaf mountain Florida"

  • Forearm for the heart rate strap?? What a dufus. I think I will wear mine around my forehead! Hahahahahahahaha

  • he never ride a bike----

  • hahahahahahahahahhahahahahah forearm

  • Where do you put the HR strap????????? wtf!

  • Cool! Yeah, I'm planning on gettin' one soon!

  • glad i am not the only one that caught the obvious mistake. forearm? heart monitor...goes near the...uh, heart.

i have one of these. it is a great tool. you can sync up to your computer and view all your data. lots of information, more than an average rider will ever need. great training tool.

base unit will give you all the info you need, tracks speed through gps. the basic model is just the gps unit. next one up comes with heart monitor (for chest). next is both hrm and cadence.

  • I bet the heart rate monitor doesn't work that well anyways.
