ProLife Rally in Madison at the end of January, to protest the opening of a 2nd Term abortion clinic at UW Madison's Hospital. Instructions to the protesters for civility and peacefulness.
@BSchuh3 They can choose to go to war, but they don't have that right. They can choose to kill someone on death row, but they don't have that right. They can choose to withhold health care for the poor and food for the 2/3rds World, but they don't have that right. These are all Life issues. We don't have the right to murder others, in any way.
@BSchuh3 I'm sorry, BSchuch- YouTube never notified me of this post a year ago!
Thank you for your kind words.
Yes, I'm male. But it's not a matter of religion. It's a matter of a philosophy, one that everyone brings to the table when they argue something. Some philosophies also happen to be religions. But we shouldn't judge people for having religious philosophies.
I simply believe that there are some choices that people don't have a right to.
Maybe we should give this a rest. You feel that I'm missing your point of view just like I believe you're missing mine. If it's wrong for me to prejudge then I accept that... and I'll even apologize. But you do the same when you try to oppress a woman's right to choose to what I assume is in the name of your religion. Assuming you are male Adbul... then you have no idea what it is like to be a woman. In closing though, good fortune and heath to you sir. (See? I'm not that much of a jerk am I?)
You know, Bschuh, this would all have been avoided, and we could have gotten along probably pretty well, if you'd ever endeavored to have an open mind and not prejudge people.
That's rather immaterial. I was merely pointing out where the logic of your arguments lay.
If you think that I said there would be no problems with the population boom when I said the exact opposite in plain English, I am forced to ask you what your first language is, and what good it is to argue with someone who has no grasp of the language that I'm speaking.
To be clear, you come in here, very arrogant, expressing that you are better, and the people that you make assumptions about are beneath you, and then choose to condemn them for acting superior. This must be a very convenient world you live in.
Oh, I know you aren't a conservative. Or at least don't claim to be. It's just that you act as bad as one, or the ones that you stereotype me as. I'm sorry you weren't able to understand that.
If you really believe removing an embryo is murder then I would suggest you stop eating meat (if you don't already) because that (then) is murder too. Second, push for better sex education of our youth (pushing Abstinence does not work) so that there can be less abortions. and third, if you don't think we're not going to have real problems because of the population boom then I guess you show as much ignorance as I do. Yes... you're god will always be where he/she has been.... as an illusion.
My goodness.... I must compliment you on your arrogance and this 'more superior than thou' act. And maybe I did make assumptions about you... but I don't even know you or what religion (fairy-tales) you believe in. You did make a few assumptions about me though... (I'm not a conservative for one) and yes - stereotypes are bad... but there is still a reason they come to be (whether positive or negative) Most pro-lifers (not all but most) are drunk on religion... it's demonstrated on their signs.
Regardless of the world population, which Malthus would indicate is too large, there is no reason for murder. Regardless of your belief on if abortion is murder, the logic of your argument suggested that murder would be a reasonable solution.
My God will be in the same place he is when the world population is only 6.8 billion, or 1 million. There is no logical reason for Her to be in a different place because the world population changes.
Which you have every right to believe. But that does not fit with the logic of your previous question. You have conveniently ignored that when confronted with a belief in the Seamless Tapestry.
Yes, I keep up with current events. I am glad you do so as well. However, you are way, way off on our current population. There's really no excuse for that, when a simple click on the internet can give you the correct figures.
