Charlie is one of my favorite writers of all time.

Nah. Watched it again the other day. It has great ideas and great moments, but it all adds up to a big, disorganized, tedious mess.

Kaufman does not need the mediating influence of a director. Synecdoche is one of the greatest films of the decade.
