------ {About Project P4} ------
You know the saying "A picture is worth a thousand words"? This is what this project is about.
Using the themes "Family, Friends and Companions", this video symbolize what the relationship between the MC (Main Character) and the cast had for that whole year in Inaba.
Unlike Persona 3, the themes mentioned fits quite well since there is a lot more activities as well as events which draws them all close to each other (with Nanako as their mascot, at least my mascot).
------ {Making of Project P4} ------
Originally, I was not going to make one since I could not find a music to fit this theme.. until "Heartful Cry" was found as a hidden music track in the P4 Data (even though it is used in P3:FES).
The music, itself, instantly told me how the story is played as well as how it should be shown (making it very easy to work on).
Each 2 minutes signifies at least two Arcs from P4 but the relation and the history flow of the year is constant (MC+Yousuke Arc, Chie+Yukiko Arc, as example).
The last 3 minutes was a tough one since it is the "trigger" point which pushes the cast to the worst scenario possible (True Arc). Hence, a change of music was used to signify this (The Genesis).
The irony is that while the music helps signifies the depths of despair as well as the whole truth revealed, the final chorus at the end help brings everyone together to overcome that great tragedy.
While figuring out what to show was easy (since the music "told" me in my mind), the editing was the hard part.
Keeping with the "picture is more than a thousand words", trying to find the key events without any "text/talking" is hard. And if there is, editing it to make it look like there isn't any is not easy either. I think it turned out extremely well aside from probably 1-2 spots which can be spotted (but the rest are like that when recorded so it was not because of editing).
All those editing resulted in over 200 events (video clips) and 200gigs of video to produce this.
In the end, this Project is for those who will probably not play the game but will yet see (and possibility) understand the whole story.
For those who already played P4, it is a great reminiscence for all the great, funny, sad and happy times in the game.
While the difference in style is the opposite of Project P3, this Project did absolute justice to show what P4 is all about (which is all I care).
Regardless (for better or worse), I hope you all enjoy it!
The story of companions...
Founded as friends, bonded as family.
Who are reaching out to the truth...
with their courage,
and the power of their heart.

WOW! THe timing with the build-up of the true last boss theme and the Personae evolution is impeccably PERFECT. The mini-vids of the evolutionized Personae attacking InO was also a brilliant touch. EXCELLENT video. You should seriously be a millionaire if Atlus ever sees this.
