Winter race at Largs Bay Sailing Club 22/6/06

http://www.fireballsa.yachting.org.au/

The Fireball is a high performance two-person dinghy that offers exciting sailing, intense competition and a great social life off the water. The Fireball hull and plans are strictly one design. Class rules allow you to vary the position and design of equipment to suit your own weight and style of sailing.

The Fireball is an international class with fleets in every region of the world. The association conducts annual World, Continental, National and State Championships. Fireballs are a delight to sail in strong winds. The weight and strength of the crew is not as important as the tuning of the boat. The trapeze and sail handling require skill rather than strength. The thrills of trapeze and spinnakers are hard to match in any type of sailboat.

  • im prty devo u cut out the path when u and rowdie where checking if the camera was working.

  • no one needs to see up my nose ed

  • eww.. comon guys, don't get too cocky, that set of mine would make anyone look good. I don't remember signing a press release form anyway ha. Where'd you attach the cammera? Shane hughes did a similar thing but he had a big rig out the back, and it came a bit higher so you could see the whole boat, and both crew in the picture.

  • Sam it's simply stuck on the top of the rear tank with a suction cup mount which comes with the camera. Takes 3 seconds. I guess you could make a rig to stick it further out if you wanted, just need to work out how to anchor it. Camera comes with all types of attachments and can be fixed to headstraps, helmets, poles etc... only limited by your imagination. Takes pictures and 57 min of video, waterproof and relatively cheap ($270-$300).

  • Eddie what can I say, I'll meet you behind the boatshed in 15 minutes but don't tell anyone (especially Harry or he will be devastated)...:)

  • Hey Ho Lets Go !!
