Pls www.facebook.com/harkioat The 18th century witnessed the massacre of a significant proportion of the Sikh population by the Mughals during the waning years of the Mughal Empire.

The authority declared and carried out a drive of oppression in the form of genocidal campaigns against the Sikhs. These were characterized by the sacrilege of Sri Harmandir Sahib and the organized capture, torture and execution of tens of thousands of Sikh men, women and children.

The Governor of Lahore, offered lucrative rewards for the discovery and killing of Sikhs. A blanket was offered to anyone who managed to cut off the distinctive mane of a Sikh or Khalsa. A substantial monetary reward was offered for information on the whereabouts of a Sikh, and a larger sum for the delivery of a Sikh scalp. The plunder of Sikh homes was made lawful and anyone giving shelter to or withholding information about the movements of the Sikhs was liable to themselves being executed. Captured Sikhs were dragged around in chains and were publicly executed at the horse market of Lahore called Nakhas, since renamed "Shaheedganj" (place of the martyred).

Awesome video ..... Screenplay,direction and everything was just superb. I want you guys to make a movie similar to 300 in which we can show what our 40 mukte did in chamkaur di kadi. We can show the world that our 40 muktes were better than those 300. Although I am too young to help you financially ... But I'll contribute as much as I can ..... and we'll make 40 mukte a reality that the whole world will see and know who the Sikhs are.

good work we all should contribute I strongly agree but you should ask sgpc amritsar so that a superb educated inspiring movie like 300 be made of sikhs.SGPC has the capacity to support financially or otherwise. u should all see animated japanese created ramayan(legend of prince ram as an example) that's only 1 hour or long but the way they shown it brilliant ,sgpc should make like that one for everyone. our extra ordinary history and message of oneness is hidden by our negligence.
