Well, I got some presents from my brother that let me get movie clips. Hurrah.

So, first I ripped the Matrix, then I decided to start with a movie that I had seen a bajillion times and knew forwards and backwards. Then I thought, "Galaxy Quest".

Galaxy Quest might be my favorite movie. It's hysterical and it never gets old. It's also full of adventure and other fun things. It's about this group of actors who were in a Star Trek like TV show, but are now retired and making money off of conventions and things. Some aliens receive the TV broadcast of their show, think that it's all real, and bring up the actors to help them fight off their enemy, Saras. Basically, the actors have no clue what the heck they're doing. The movie is stuffed with Star Trek jokes.

The aliens are the Thermians, and they're so amazing that they deserve their own tribute. I threw together all of the best Thermian moments and put "Eye of the Tiger" in the background. I did have to cut the song--can you tell where?

Oh, the best Thermian is by far Teb. He's the one who says "and it exploded", which is my favorite line in the entire movie.

Yup. Go see Galaxy Quest--it's worth it. Are there any fellow Questerians out there? Speak up!

I lose it every time at "her translator is broken" and the ensuing noise. OH GOD LOL THIS MOVIE IS SO FULL OF WIN. I especially love Quillek.

How did the other actors keep from cracking up every time they just looked at "Mathesar?" Let alone every time he spoke. I couldn't have done it. I could never have been able to keep a straight face.

i've seen it and i love it, i keep doing the voice impressions. my favorite part is when they make fun of how the red shirts always die in star trek
