Thanks for coming back to Clevver Movies, Im Tatiana Diana and Ive got the latest on Bond 23!

Ive got some pretty exciting casting couch news for bond 23!...First up, Naomie Harriss! We know her from fighting zombies in "28 days later" and from "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest" and now we learn she may just have landed her most flirty role yet.

We have just learned that Harris has been cast as M's assistant, Moneypenny. Other actresses who have played Moneypenny in the past include Lois Maxwell, Caroline Bliss, Samantha Bond, Barbara Bouchet, and Pamela Salem.

In other casting news, the film has locked in 2 other top actors... both Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes have signed on for the flick. Javier has confirmed that he will play a villain, and that Ralphs character is said to be "darkly complex."

"Bond 23" is directed by Sam Mendes and starts filming later this year and is scheduled for release on November 9th, 2012

What is the reasoning behind Moneypenny being black? She's always been white, in all the movies and in the books. I was fine with Felix because he was never a defined character in any of the books, but are they going too far away now from Bond canonical?

What about John Cleese who played R (Q) in the last few pierce brosnan films, he only had very small minor roles but what better actor to replace the previous Q. ? Walking disaster once again starring daniel craig.
