Rafe Mair broadcaster, author, talk show host and past Provincial Minister of the Environment and Health, pays tribute to past UFAW Union President Jack Nichol. Rafe goes on to describe fishing in a creek in Vancouver which is now one of the very few creeks left in Vancouver which still has returning salmon. He talks about the warnings given to us by the Irish regarding fish farms and the devastation fish farms can cause to wild salmon. He goes on to describe the part the mainstream media has played in suppressing information on this issue and urges individuals concerned with what the Gordon Campbell government is doing to the wild salmon and the coast to stand strong like Winston Churchill and to never quit in the battle to save the wild salmon from extinction.
