Akshara is depressed when Gayatri tells her that she has to go to her parents' house for the last month of her pregnancy. Gayatri and Kaveri convince her that it is a custom to go to her parent's house for the delivery. Rajshri is elated to learn that Gayatri has convinced Akshara to stay at her parents house. Nandini calls up Akshara to inform her that she will be staying with the Sighania family for a month as Mohit is going to Delhi for a month. Akshara is dismayed to learn that Gayatri had lied to her about the custom. Vishambhar is doubtful that Akshara is happy to leave her in-laws and come to her parents' house for the last month of her pregnancy.
