Cliff Gullett set out to break every landspeed record in the streamline motorcycle classification. Cliff crashed at the Bonneville Salt Flats September 3, 2008 after recording an exit speed in excess of 239 mph. Cliff Gullett was my friend and the video is dedicated to his memory. www.teambullett.com

Ah, but that a racer's reach should exceed their grasp, or what's a Heaven for?
Cliff Gullet is now forever entertwined into land speed racing's history, a fine addition although I sorely wish he were still around to make a bit more . . .LandSpeed Louise

I worked for Cliff or I guess Dale when he was the parts manager back in 97 at the old store. This is such a shock to find this. I didn't know anything about it as I live in Alaska now.
Cliff was a good man and was respectful to me as an employee. I saw the new store a few years ago but he wasn't in when I asked if he was around. I am glad to see the level he brought the store to.
