Do I regret voting 4 the Lib Dems- No. But do I regret Nick Clegg being the leader- yes. i'm all for cross party cooperation and i'm glad there is a coalition in principle. It's not the party he's sold out on though,it's the public. He doesn't listen and doesn't care that he lied in the election. He's damaged the credibility of having an alternate party for good.

OMG! 'since when is the answer to debt more debt...that is why I am still implacably opposed to tuition fees.'
Fast forward to today and not only have tuition fees gone up but they have tripled! Incidentally, we now have the highest university fees in Europe.
You have betrayed your student voters Clegg and have exposed yourself as a lying fraud. And you talk about politicians representing the morals of the public. Since when did the public value deception and lies? Your are a disgrace.

I remember vividly on the news Clegg was indoors making a statement about the ongoing coalition negotiations between lib dems and labour, looking pretty cheesed off, then after finishing he kind of rolled his eyes and said to someone to the side "Is that Right?".
Anyone else remember this? I know i didnt imagine it because me and my dad spotted it, looked at each other and just muttered "Bellend."

Even at my most pessimistic, I must conclude that Nick Clegg is either a nice guy or a politician so cynically dedicated to pretending to be a nice guy that it makes no real difference.
