this was my first graphics card! before i got it i always used onboard. now i got a 6970 and it kicks ass!

@SlingerMarshall you could go with a radeon 5870 with that price range. it'll still drop prices later when you'll buy one.

@ZeldascornStudios well i don't think i can get an updated system this year cause i just sunk all my cash into a new laptop ( using right now) so i think ill have to wait a while. but when i get my cash flow i just wanna know what would be a good card for an affordable price? a price rage around $200-$300 is about what ill pay for a nice card i guess.

@kratosuu it's kabet - ilocano version

@SlingerMarshall You could try the lowest resolution possible. But the best thing to do would be upgrading your video card. My 7300gt died on me already for over 2 years now and am playing fallout 3 and oblivion on max on my 9800gt. Well, it's not the latest card on the market but it does its job.

would fallout 3 run like this?
cause im dying to play fallout 3 and i wanna know if i can run it maxed like this and as smooth.
i have a 7300gt with 512 video ram. 1.5 gb system ram.
and intel pentium 4 @ 3.0ghz and i had 20 fps average on low in fallout 3.
how did you do this with such an shitty graphicscard? i have the same and it lags like shit without performance-mods o.O

@asatrv it's on the lowest resolution 640x480. it doesn't lag much without fraps recording

@kratosuu your video card seems to be the problem, you could try lower resolutions or try upgrading your video card.
